Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Zau, a personal-assistant service operated by Universe Vision Marketing Management LLC ("Zau", "we", "us", "our"), Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By using Zau — through WhatsApp or the web — you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Zau.

1. The service

Zau is an AI-powered personal assistant that helps you manage reminders, tasks, notes, expenses, appointments, document renewals and — for real-estate professionals — client follow-ups, through a chat interface. Features may change, improve or be discontinued over time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use Zau.

3. Your account

We identify you by your WhatsApp number. You are responsible for the activity that happens through your account and for keeping your device and messaging app secure. Please keep the information you give us accurate.

4. Free trial & subscriptions

Zau offers a 7-day free trial. After the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription, billed monthly in AED. Prices are shown before you subscribe. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.

5. Cancellation & refunds

You can cancel at any time by asking Zau or contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals, and your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Except where required by applicable law, payments already made are non-refundable.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Zau for anything unlawful, harmful, abusive, fraudulent or infringing; not to attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the service; and not to use it to send spam or to violate the rights of others or the policies of WhatsApp/Meta or other providers we rely on.

7. AI & service limitations

Zau uses artificial intelligence and can make mistakes or provide incomplete information. It is not a substitute for professional advice (legal, financial, medical or otherwise). You are responsible for verifying important information before acting on it. Reminders, calendar syncing and message delivery depend on third-party services and may occasionally be delayed or fail.

8. Third-party services

Zau works with providers such as WhatsApp/Meta, Google (Calendar), OpenAI, Anthropic, Stripe, Supabase and Vercel. Your use of Zau may also be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services or their availability.

9. Your data

You keep ownership of your information. How we collect and use your data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using Zau, you grant us the permissions needed to operate the service for you.

10. Intellectual property

Zau, its name, brand and software are owned by us. These Terms do not transfer any ownership of them to you.

11. Disclaimers

Zau is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from missed reminders, delays, or reliance on the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Termination

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the service. You may stop using Zau at any time.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of Zau after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai will have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have.
